Liko Lemons: Going out West

The Prologue

The year is 3007, one may think our global population has increased greatly resulting in many more cities popping up and housing being jammed so tightly that the only way to go is up. This in turn would begin to make skyscrapers taller and more common. Did you believe that before, but now are skeptical because of how I worded the previous sentence? No need to be skeptical, it does happen. The population has nearly increased 20 times its original size in 2500 from today's global population. Crowding becomes worse and worse, the human population only grows, reaching maximum capacity is imminent. The rise of the vulpine race didn't help much either. But in 2801, a breath of fresh air (maybe a depressing breath, a toxic breath as you may, but in the end it was relieving) takes place. An alien invasion occurs and they wipe out massive amounts of citizens. This becomes more of an extermination than a war. The alien force, known as The Black Dominion by the general population, had started their sweep in Phoenix, Arizona and moved east. Even though they seemed impossible to stop, gradually, their forces began to wear thin, and by the time they reached Boston, Massachusetts, their army had dropped from billions to a mere thousands. The human and vulpine populations were waiting this day for a long time. As it turned out, the US army was replaced by an anarchist group known as "The Crimson Guild." If it were not for The Crimson Guild, Earth would have gone in shambles and making an almost full and crowded planet into an empty and barren one. What had happened was that The Crimson Guild had it's grip on Boston, as a matter of fact over 50 percent of their forces were located there. The Crimson Guild triumphed over what remained of The Black Dominion. The humans and vulpines; the native species of Earth; had triumphed. To repay The Crimson Guild for potentially saving the world, the United States Changed its name to The Crimson Nation. Overcrowding in the United States, now The Crimson Nation, was officially history. Families and single persons alike spread west. Not many of them wanted to stray too far west in fear of what happened before happening again, so the central states remained mostly vacant, Wyoming's population was finally down to zero. Everyone either lived on the west coast, the border between either Mexico or Canada, or east of the Mississippi River. By 2900, The government had placed up a forceshield for reasons mostly unknown.

So what of these cities that lie to the west? No one lived there. Wrecked buildings and dark cities were all that remained, nothing could live there. For over 200 years, no one dared to go out west. Until one day, a 21 year old British man by the name of Hank Obvious decided to journey out to the western states. He didn't want anyone who he cared about to be in danger, so he only invited one friend to come with him. His name is Taro Abbott. Hank had tried his best to keep it secret, but another friend of his who happened to be a vulpine overheard his plans, and decided he wanted to come with them. This vulpine is our dear friend Liko. And this is where we join them...
This is my next big project, I will be working on it daily, and I'll be giving you a chapter every Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until it is finished.

Anyway, this is the introduction basically giving insight into the situation, and hopefully from the title and the prologue, you can guess what's gonna happen.

Chapter 1 will not be posted until some one comments a legitimate comment.
