Ok, so, well, I've completed the transformation of Liko to full-on Zerdan. Now that that's done, I feel the need to draw some more. So I'll probably end up drawing some more reference sheets. Especially of characters who need it such as Hank and the rest of my human characters. When I get a good portion of those done, I'll move over to doing the art trades if anyone has completed their end of the bargain (possibly sooner).

School is pretty much coming to an end for me. Three of my classes consist of half seniors. So after May 23rd, my Math, Science, and English classes will contain about 10 students each. I can't imagine we'll do much. Also we're almost done with the Spanish curriculum. The only thing I'm worried about is History since not only is it an honors level class, but it looks like we'll be going to the very end of the year.

Well anyway, I get out on June 16th this year which is fairly early compared to the last few years. I'll let you know about my summer plans when Junes rolls around.

I'm in conflict again. I was pondering this about 6 months ago. Liko Lemons is the only hybrid character I have in that he's half red fox and half fennec fox. I detest main characters who are special in some way, and since Liko is the main character, it kinda makes me look like the hypocrite. Also since Liko is my avatar, I'm aiming to be more unique. Already he's unique since there are hardly any people with fennec fox, red fox hybrids as their avatar. But I'm a bit generic since it seems about 85% of all fox avatars are red foxes (no offense to those of whom that are).

At this point the only thing stopping me is all my previous artwork. All the pictures of Liko will be totally outdated and invalid and it would require me to come up with a whole bunch of references. This would also force me to make his father (Tobias Lemons) be a fennec fox, as well as his half brothers Rolf and Steve.

However, I'll need to make my decision quickly since I'll be starting work on the Liko costume this June as soon as I get out of school for the summer. I suppose it won't be too much hassle though considering a lot of people see Liko as being full fennec already, I guess the only thing I'd have to modify are the forearm and lower leg fur from dark

EDIT: OK, I thought about it today and I have finally decided to make Liko a full on fennec fox. All that is different is that the brown arm and leg fur will now be white, and I'll need to pay some extra attention to his ears to make sure they're larger.

So yes, Liko is officially a Zerdan Vulpine.

I am going to Miami From Wednesday to Sunday. I will be absolutely unable to reach a computer when I'm down there. What will I be doing? Well, since I'm in the Robotics Team, I get to go see Battlebots live in action. Though I will actually be doing some work down there. I have a story to write for my Journalism class and I'll be doing it on the Battlebots team. I have a tape recorder and all that jazz. So yeah, that'll be fun, not really. I think the only pro of this is that I'll be able to make up for lost vacation time which I lost working on my History paper. I'm still feeling, "Wait, did I ever have a spring break?"

Anyway, I'm desiring some more work of Liko and the gang NOT done by me. Yes, I'd like to see more fanart/giftart/art trades. It's none too greedy, all I am saying is that I am allowing people to draw my characters and they will get an art trade of equal effort from me. (well meaning, if you draw lineart, then I'll do the same; colored, I'll do the same, colored with background, I'll do the same, and vice versa)

So here's the deal, post in this journal, and tell me what you want me to draw (nothing too elaborate) and if I reply with an approval then you've got an art trade.
